Copper engravings by C. Inselin, each mm 232x330, full modern wash color. Attractive and decorative medium sized set with two world maps, one double hemisphere and one in Mercator’s projection. Nicolas de Fer (1646-1720) was a leading frech engraver and cartographer, official geographer of the king of France. The map of America id dated 1702. Good condition.
