Rare map of the course of the Rio Kwanza flowing through Angolan territory, important because the lower navigable course of the river was the original route of the Portuguese invasion of northern Angola. The route of the railway from the capital Luanda to Ambaca is also described. The map, originally on thin paper, very easy to damage, has been mounted on a thicker paper backing and shows visible traces of earlier damage, such as tears, now restored, and small missing marks in the corners of the original editorial folds. Rare. Only found in the National Library of Portugal.
