Taken from Lo stato presente della Sicilia o sia breve, e distinta descrizione di essa...accresciuta colle notizie delle isole aggiacenti (Palermo, Francesco Valenza, 1761). A rare work, published in a single edition, a fundamental account of the most noteworthy things in Sicily, written by Leanti, poet and author of plays, who was appointed royal historian, founder of the Accademia del buon Gusto in Palermo in 1764. Good specimen with traces of the editorial folds, some light and small stains, professional restoration with tears along the folds at the bottom margin.
