Libreria Antiquaria Perini
was established in 1967 by Carlo and Ruth Perini in Como, near the lake, in via Foscolo, where they moved to, once left Cologne, where Carlo was studying and making also his first professional steps, working at a local auction house. In Germany he had met Ruth, young photographer of second generation. In 1970 they decided to transfer the business to Verona in a temporary location in via Sciesa 9, and then to move to the historic headquarters at number 11 of the same street where we are now based since 1972. For many years Carlo and Ruth have represented a reference point for the printin and book market.
Now the Libreria is led by Marcus and Alberto Perini, second generation in business, with Marcus' wife Antonella and the help of Gordana, our historic assistant.
We published 50 catalogues of antique and rare books, maps, decorative prints and old masters. Recently we increased our offer and interests opening a window on the modern market of contemporary prints and vintage posters.
In our premises we carry a large stock of antique books, prints, maps, vintage posters for collection, gift and and decoration purposes.
