Nice contemporary half-leather binding with friezes and title in gold on spine. First edition. Important source of art history, one of the best-known and most celebrated art guides to Milan, not least because of its rich iconographic apparatus. Complete with the often missing large plan. Latuada, abbot of the congregation of the Clerics Regular of St. Philip based in San Satiro in Milan, was a pupil of L.A. Muratori. Very good genuine copy with beards; some scuffing to binding.
