First year of the famous scientific periodical published by the Académie des Curieux de la Nature, founded in 1652 by Lorenz Bauschius (1605-1666), here given in the collection of “Memoirs and Lectures which were presented to Monsignor the Dauphin during the year 1672 by Jean Baptiste Denis Councillor and Ordinary Physician of the King.” Contains 160 observations by various authors among which “Observationes de viperis” by Francesco Redi is given at the end. Good copy with slight blooming. Binding with traces of use to edges and hinges.
