Etchings printed with the presses of the Calcografia Nazionale di Roma. Linoleum and texts printed by the Stamperia Valdonega in Verona. Autograph signature by Quasimodo at the foot of the text of his poem, from which the volume takes its title. Half parchment with gilt title to the spine, plates in hazelnut hardback, editorial monograms in gilt to the front plate. Parchment and cardboard slipcase with mends. Condition as new. Original edition, print-run: 7 out of print, 13 ad personam, 150 numbered copies, all signed and stamped on hand-made paper by Fratelli Magnani of Pescia (our copy No. 56 of the run of 150).
