Title a little soiled and waterstained, light mainly marginal waterstaining, some spotting, a few leaves browned. First edition of this famous book, “Summa” of renaissance gnomonics. The author, called “Euclid of the XVI century” bases his study of gnonomonic on geometry and describes the different ways of constructing sundials and also discusses the astronomical background.
