Copper engraving, mm 305x410. Scarce map after the Coppo map of 1525 describing the coast between the Friuli and Segna (Senj). Title and signature (Valegio form.) in bottom left corner. Very good impression with wide margins, some discoloration at centrefold and a restored tear at bottom affecting image, a restored hole in upper margin and a tiny one in the middle. Lago/Rossit, Histria, 88: “Questo disegno…non è mai stato segnalato dagli studiosi di cartografia, è, evidentemente, un document assai raro.”; Bifolco /Ronca, 601:”La carta è molto rara; per la prima volta viene pubblicata da Lago…che descrive l’unico esemplare a lui noto, conservato al museo Correr di Venezia”.
