The map is flanked by 4 pairs of peoples of England, from a Noble-man through to a Country-man, each with his woman. Sea monsters, galleons, a royal coat of arms and a cartouche embellish the map. From 1676 edition of the ‘Theatre of The Empire of Great Britain’. A good example with some minor restorations at upper centrefold.
