Copperplate engraving, mm 235x330, hand-color. Uncommon map of unique style, not comparable to any other map of the same period. It depicts the provinces of Salerno and Potenza and all the convents of the Capuchin Fathers; published in “Chorographica descriptio Provinciarum et Conventum minorum S. Francisci Capucinorum” atlas of the Capuchin provinces, first published in 1643 in Rome by Giovanni da Moncalieri, minister general of the Capuchin order, and updated with unpublished maps by Giovanni Battista da Cassino in the new edition published in Milan in 1712. Very good copy with left margin a little short and lower margin added.
