Albrizzi, originally from Bergamo, was part of a family of Venetian typographers and publishers, which originated at the end of the 17th century from his father Girolamo; in 1740 he obtained from the Reformers of the Study of Padua the privilege to print "a newspaper containing political and military news" entitled Il Nuovo Postiglione. He availed himself of the collaboration of the best draughtsmen and engravers of the time: Piazzetta, Zanetti, Pitteri and Bartolozzi. Valerio, Cartografi Veneti p. 139
