His main work is undoubtedly the Chorografia fisica, storica e statistiche dell’Italia e delle sue isole, to which this engraving belongs. The Chorografia consists of twelve volumes (not counting the various supplements), printed between 1833 and 1845, and is accompanied by a two-volume atlas and numerous geographical and topographical maps, as well as illustrative plates.
