Albrizzi, of Bergamo origin, was part of a family of Venetian printers and publishers, which originated in the late 17th century from his father Girolamo; in 1740 he obtained from the Reformers of the Study of Padua the privilege of printing "a newspaper containing political and military news" entitled Il Nuovo Postiglione. He availed himself of the collaboration of the best draughtsmen and engravers of the time: Piazzetta, Zanetti, Pitteri and Bartolozzi. Valerio, Cartographers Veneti p. 139
