Extremely rare pair of copper engravings, 335x238 mm, signed at the bottom ‘Enrico Corty inc. ed imp.’. Taken from L'Italia in miniatura ossia storia, guida e scene delle più illustri città d'Italia (Italy in miniature, or history, guide and scenes from the most illustrious cities of Italy), Marsigli, Bologna, 1839, printed by Zannoli lithography. They depict the most significant views of Renaissance and Baroque Rome with a map in the centre of the sheet, with 17 and 18 panels per sheet respectively. A fine specimen with margins and well engraved, in excellent condition.
