First edition of this large plan by Monaldini, depicting the city within the city walls, as engraved on a stone slab. On the sides the plan is enriched with 16 small views depicting some of the major monuments: St. Peter's Basilica; Basilica of S.M. Maggiore; Agrippa's Pantheon; Roman Forum; Basilica of St. John Lateran; Basilica of St. Paul; Capitoline Hill; Flavian Amphitheater; Pyramid of C. Cestius; Trajan's Forum; and Mount Horse.
