Copper engraving, 350 x 570 mm. Famous perspective plan of the city with the two latin ports, taken from “Nouveau théâtre d’Italie” by Pierre Mortier (1661-1711), a very active publisher in Amsterdam in the early 18th century. Among his major works is the reprint of Blaeu’s “Theatrum Civitatum…Italiae” with the original addition of a fourth volume, covering northern Italy and Tuscany. A fine copy, with usual traces of the editorial fold in the center, with margins.
