Executed by one of the most esteemed and innovative French artists and engravers who lived between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Taken from “ Voyage pittoresque et historique du nord de l'Italie ” by Bruun Neergaard. Very good example with slight oxidation in outer margins rgins and some small staining only at the margins. Debucourt is considered the father of French aquatinting, one of the most highly regarded engravers of the early 19th century. Very well preserved.
