Taken from the first edition of "Voyage Pittoresque ou description des Royaumes de Naples et de Sicile," by far one of the finest and most elegant descriptive works of the kingdom of Naples: consisting of five volumes issued from 1781 to 1786, it represented an enormous economic and typographical effort, repaid, moreover, by a huge sales success, becoming the typographical model on which many later travel works were based. Nice copy with wide margins, some marginal flourishing.
