Period polychrome watercolor manuscript, 1120x950 mm, mounted on coeval cloth, finished with green silk ribbon exterior. On the right appears a legend structured in two columns, listing notable things, indicated in two boxes with A-X and A-R, churches and streets with 165 cross-references (the number after 143 is barely legible); at lower right is the note “Copy by Ranieri Spadaccini Scolare del Sig.r Magg,re Conte Pellegrini L. 1760.” At the bottom are the coat of arms of Pisa in the center, a ribbon with a staircase of steps, and a large heraldic crest. The plan of the city, curiously rotated 180°, has the north at the bottom and the Campo dei Miracoli then at the bottom right and the Botanical Garden, called the Giardino dei Semplici, just above. The city wall surrounding the historic center is well highlighted.
