Copper engraving by De Vegni, 193x285 mm. From Geographical Atlas of Italy. Attilio Zuccagni-Orlandini (1784-1872) was an Italian cartographer and geographer. His main work is undoubtedly the Corografia fisica, storica e statistica dell'Italia e delle sue isole, to which the engraving belongs. The Corografia consists of twelve tomes (not counting the various supplements), printed between 1833 and 1845, and is accompanied by a two-volume atlas and numerous geographical and topographical maps and illustrative plates. Very well preserved
