This is the second edition of the map, dated 1819 in the previous edition of the Società Tipografica Editrice's 'Descrizione di Verona e della sua provincia' published in 1820; the second edition, from which the map is taken, was printed by Pollidi in 1836. This plan highlights a wide range of urban monuments, such as schools and theatres, hitherto not found on city maps and became the model for almost all 19th-century plans.
